Mate, a very professional business theme…i have downloaded it…but one quick question: I want to have a dropdown menu for our services with all my services mention (the same as portfolio) I tried hard but didnt succeeded…kindly help

After installing the theme it says

Firstly, lovely theme indeed. I have copied all the files via ftp as instructed but get the following message when trying to preview or activate the theme.

Attempted to install template on WordPress MU. Received the following errors:

Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/virtua58/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4342
Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/virtua58/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4345
Is this because of MU or some other problem?
Just tried installing on a regular WordPress 3.2.1 site with the same errors as above.
Chris, you’ve got a ZIP from us. Unzip it, go to Sources, and find “wp-content” directory. Upload this directory right to your WordPress (and agree where it asks you about replacing the plugins, themes and uploads). In themes there are all the necessary files, such as stylesheet, inlcudes, etc.
Let me know if it works this way.

Dannk, make sure your database is properly set up and connected with your localhost. Before you install the theme, install actual WordPress platform to your localhost. Let me know if this info helped.
Hi guys, i installed your theme and i have been editing it. But i have encountered a problem. I cannot get the Menu to work the way the Theme was designed. the website is PatPetCare.com and if any one could help me resolve this issue i would be extremely grateful.
Like Barry I too am having trouble with not being to find or use the templates for services, about custom pages and the above statement left me wondering still.
“Hi Barry, no worries. Back to the pages. In wordpress, there is one page and it’s called page.php. It’s a skin for all regular pages. The actual content for pages is loaded from the admin panel. So that’s a place for you to add more pages. In other words, the content for each page (just like the posts) is saved in database.”
I am already aware that content is manipulated through pages in the admin but shouldn’t custom pages be located in the Default Template area of the page for Easy alteration. If their something I am doing wrong please let me know. I too am willing to buy a template on here for compensation for this advise.
I love the theme & it’s layout, etc. What I don’t like is that the install is so complicated. Most do not require so many steps. The best way to do this is to install the theme, tell us what plugins to use and give clear instructions on how to modify and use the theme.
I too see the menu issue right off the bat. How do you fix it? So frustrated!

I want to put something like the image rotation at the part that you placed “we do more that just website” word, (as the top – main banner). Can u tell me how to upload my own photo to this part?

Anyone having problems with menu alignment use this as a fix. When in the menu creator in wordpress add a new menu item but use the one with custom link and name. So for the custom link put your home page. then for the name put multiple
this will push over the other menu items to the right to position correctly. you want this menu item to land in the middle behind where the logo is. just keep adding more in title depending on length of your menu items to get it to work. Easiest way and it works on all browsers and phones.

I am trying to read instruction for working with this template … but only what I am able to read is index.html in documentation folder and there is only few notes instalation. Are there any another instruction how to work and operate with this template (I would like to create portfolio 3 columns page – but dont know how)?
